Current courses

Solar concentration

Undergraduate, in Spanish (2017-today)

Evaluate the basic fundamentals of the design or selection of equipment for the use of concentrated solar radiation in applications with temperatures above 100 °C. To propose options for the supply of thermal energy in various industrial processes.

Trigeneration and advanced cycles

Undergraduate, in Spanish (2019-today)

Analyse and design systems for the simultaneous generation of mechanical power, thermal power and cooling, in an efficient and sustainable manner. Design advanced cycles and their optimal combination, based on energy and exergy analysis.

Thermal Equipment Design

Undergraduate, in Spanish (2020-today)

Design equipment (heat exchangers, steam generators, etc.) and proposals for solutions related to the transfer of thermal energy for any type of industrial process,

Advanced power cycles

Undergraduate, in Spanish (2024-today)

Compare power and cooling systems by analyzing cycles based on energy and exergy balances of processes for simultaneous generation and efficient use of energy sources.

Past courses

Continuum mechanics

Undergraduate, in Spanish (2018-2020)

Use the constitutive equations for the stress of solid, fluid, viscoelastic and plastic continuous media to solve engineering problems. Use the knowledge of the main models to solve different types of models used to work out how to deal with them.

Turbomachinery

Undergraduate, in Spanish (2019)

Select and determine the operating characteristics of a pump, a turbine or a fan, and the particular types of turbomachines.
